Our Lookbooks are undoubtedly the quickest, most cost-effective way to choose a colour combination for your new kitchen or bathroom.

Decor & U, working with products from respected Australian kitchen suppliers Laminex and Polytec, along with stone benchtops from CaesarStone and Essa Stone, paints from Dulux and floor and wall tiles from Beaumont tiles, has developed a range of colour schemes for use in kitchens and bathrooms.
Lookbooks are perfect for you if you're looking for inspiration and a time-saving design solution that still looks great.
In the past we’ve found that Lookbooks are a great solution for many clients ranging from professional builders to busy mums to those with demanding jobs or anyone else who finds it difficult to spare the time required for a full design consultation process.
As well as being a great timesaver, Lookbooks are also an ideal solution if you are working to a tight budget. If you haven’t allowed for the cost of the full design consultation process, but still want to make sure your new kitchen or bathroom is properly put together then this will work well for you.
And, although we have come across some cabinetmakers with a good eye for colour, unfortunately that’s not usually the case. Although they will do a great job on manufacturing your cabinets they probably won’t be able to help you very much when it comes to deciding which colours, stone benchtops, splashbacks, tiles and paints or other products will work well together.
In our experience, a new kitchen costs far too much to leave the design to chance. That’s why we developed the Lookbook Colour & Product Option. So, even if your budget is very small we believe that spending just $165.00 on a Lookbook Colour & Product Specification will be amazing value for money!

STEP 1
Browse through our selection of kitchen and bathroom colour ideas
STEP 2
If you find one or more colour combinations that you like, write down or take note of the Lookbook number(s)
STEP 3
You can then call one of our friendly consultants on 03 9348 9135 or email kate@decoru.com.au with any questions you have. We will ask you a few simple questions to help us determine which are the most suitable products for your selection, such as whether you will have a gas or electric cooktop or whether you would prefer to receive details on the budget or premium range products, or perhaps you would like to receive both so that you can consider your options further (Note: there is no extra charge for receiving both the budget and premium specification ranges where both are available for the same Lookbook concept).
STEP 4
Once you have finalized your order over the telephone or via email, we will send the Colour & Product specification to your email address within three (3) business days, or sooner.
The Colour & Product Specification will be in an easy to read format and will include the model & brand names, colour codes, product codes, retail distributors and RRP prices (or estimates) for all the products needed to recreate your chosen Lookbook Colour option.
We will also post you a hard-copy of the Colour & Product Specification along with a selection of sample products so that you can touch and feel them for yourself.
- Paint chips (A4 sized cards for the main wall colours and smaller cards for feature colours)
- Laminate samples for cabinetry doors, panels and benchtops
- Stone sample (e.g. CaesarStone or similar product)
- Tile sample (or either tile cut or close-up picture if the tiles are large)
- Glass spashback piece or paint chip
- Brochures with details of the handles and tapware recommended
- Other items as required
The added bonus of having samples to hand is that you can take them with you when you shop for furniture or accessories such as new towels, to ensure you get all the details just right and the final look is simply perfect.
STEP 5
Our invoice will be sent to you via email or post depending on your preference.
You can pay by making a direct deposit to our bank account or by posting us a cheque / money-order
STEP 6
You can now give the fully detailed Colour & Product specification to your builder or cabinetmaker so that he (or she) can order the exact products that are required to bring your new or renovated room to life

Our $165.00 fee also provides you with up to four email or telephone design enquiries once you’ve received the Colour & Product Specification and package of product samples.
That means you can rest assured about being able to receive ongoing support as you finalize your design decisions. We want to make sure you are completely happy with your new kitchen or bathroom and we’ll be more than happy to answer your questions.
Our Money back guarantee
If you’re not happy with our Colour & Product specification for any reason, simply contact us to arrange a no-cost (within Australia) return of the documents and sample products and we’ll reimburse your fee in full. It’s an honour system, because we trust our clients. The only requirement is that you contact us within five (5) days of the date we emailed you the Colour & Product Specification and confirm in writing or over the telephone that you will not be using the Colour & Product Specification. We think that’s fair all round!
FAQ
Q: How much does a Lookbook Colour Option cost?
A: The cost is $165.00 (inc GST) and includes free postage anywhere within Australia
Q: Are discounts available if I buy more than one Lookbook Colour Option?
A: A 10% discount is available if you order three or more Lookbook Colour Options simultaneously. This is a saving of at least $49.50 so it may be worthwhile ordering for your kitchen, bathroom and ensuite at the same time. Or perhaps join together with friends or family who are also planning to build or renovate soon.
Q: Can I change just one or two elements if I am not completely happy with the colours and products in my sample pack?
A: If you wish to change just one or two elements, we will assist you with this at no extra charge. The only requirement is that you contact us within three (3) months from placing your original order
Q: What if my builder or cabinetmaker cannot order the products in my location?
A: This is highly unlikely as Decor & U only specifies products that are available throughout Australia. However if an item is temporarily out of stock or becomes discontinued, just let us know within three (3) months from the date you placed your order and we will provide you with details of an alternative suitable product.
Q: How long will it take to receive my Colour & Product Specification?
A: It will take three business days. However if your order is very urgent, please let us know and we will do our best to assist you in meeting an earlier deadline
Q: Can Lookbooks be purchased for use in countries other than Australia?
A: Unfortunately this is not advisable as Decor & U cannot guarantee that the products we specify will be available outside Australia.
Q: If I am not happy, can I get my money back?
A: Yes, you certainly can. Please see our Money Back Guarantee for details.
Q: If I have a photograph of another colour and design scheme that I like, but which is not included in Decor & U’s Lookbooks collection, can I ask you to put together a unique Colour & Product Specification for me? If so, how much would that cost?
A: Yes, we can do this. Naturally it will take a little longer, so you should allow approximately ten working days to receive your specification document. The cost for this service is $220.00 (incl gst)
